The one exception is AI: when you use an AI-powered feature, your inputs are sent to AI providers that process them overseas (currently the US) under data-protection agreements. They process transiently to return the result and do not train on your data.
All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 (Google-managed keys) and in transit using TLS 1.3. TOTP secrets for 2FA are stored in encrypted Firestore documents. Stripe handles payment data — card numbers never touch our servers.
